Geist Waterfront Park
Geist Waterfront Park is a public, 70-acre waterfront park in east Fishers on Geist Reservoir. Opened in 2023, the park features beach and water access to Geist Reservoir, a non-motorized boat launch and dock access for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, walking trails, a pirate-themed playground, and public gathering amenities, including rentable shelters.
Geist Waterfront Park is located at 10811 Olio Road in Fishers, Indiana, at approximately 111th Street and the east side of Olio Road. The park serves as the only public parcel on the 1,900-acre reservoir.

Hours
The park property is is open year round, dawn to dusk, for playground fun, kayaing, and walking trails. During beach season (approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day), the beach and swimming are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with both being monitored by our staff of lifeguards. Swimming is prohibited during the off season.
Admission + Entry During Beach Season
Geist Waterfront Park is free for Fishers residents and for all guests during non-peak hours. It’s now easier than ever to visit—just drive in and park when the gates are open, or show your driver’s license at the front gate during peak hours.
What are peak hours?
- Between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays
- Memorial Day (Monday, May 26)
- Independence Day (Friday, July 4)
- Labor Day (Monday, September 1)
Peak hours for the 2025 Beach Season are set as 1 to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Peak hours apply only to non-Fishers residents. Non-residents will pay $25 for parking per vehicle (RVs and campers not permitted) during peak hours. No reservations are required and payment is collected onsite at the front gate. Geist Waterfront Park is a cashless facility. Card and mobile payment accepted.
During non-peak hours (all day Monday through Friday; dawn to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to dusk Saturdays and Sundays), non-residents will not be charged for parking and will be able to enter the park and beach for free.
