The Geist Greenway is an approximately five-mile pedestrian path, stretching north and south from 96th Street to 131st Street. A typical section of the trail is 18-feet wide, allowing for two 7-foot pedestrian lanes and 2-foot shoulders.
The greenway increases connectivity for surrounding pedestrians and bicyclists in eastern Fishers, as well as provides for additional recreational opportunities within the community.

Bell Ford Bridge to Connect to Geist Greenway
The Bell Ford Bridge that used to stand in Jackson County near Seymour, Indiana was restored and placed along the Geist Greenway. The bridge was reconstructed at Fishers AgriPark, one-fourth mile north of Geist Park, using original and replacement pieces. Almost 90% of the original iron castings from the 1860s were used. Additionally, about 40% of the primary truss members were made of either partially or entirely of the original timber. Find more history on Bell Ford Bridge here.
The pedestrian bridge provides a safe crossing over Fall Creek just west of Florida Road connecting the Geist Greenway to Hamilton County’s Geist Park.
