Snowy days call for sledding at one of Fishers Parks’ awesome sledding hills! Both Heritage Park and Flat Fork Creek Park are family favorites, with close parking and options for all ages and experience levels.

Heritage Park at White River offers a great family-friendly hill that’s perfect for little ones. If you’re feeling adventurous, Flat Fork Creek Park boasts the tallest hill in Hamilton County and offers additional options for older children and adults.

Sledding Hill Safety Rules & Guidelines

  • No sledding on designated walking paths or on or into parking lots or roadways.
  • Only use plastic sleds made for sledding on snow. No metal sleds or kayaks.
  • After you slide down, be sure to look up as you climb the hill to make sure you’re not in the path of another sledder. On your way down, space yourself from others to avoid crossing paths or collision.
  • If you’re sledding at Flat Fork Creek Park, please utilize the north side of the hill to avoid sledding over walking paths or into the parking lot.

As a reminder, be sure to dress appropriately for the cold weather and watch the local road conditions for safe travel. Be safe, have fun, and don’t forget to tag #FishersParks in your sledding photos!
