Night Lights: Holiday Kickoff Celebration + City of Fishers Tree Lighting

Night Lights returns to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater for the City of Fishers’ annual tree lighting and holiday kickoff celebration! The community is invited to attend Fishers Parks annual seasonal celebration, boasting live music, fire pits, igloos, live ice carving, reindeer and animals, food trucks, photo opportunities, holiday light displays through downtown, and more! Don’t miss the annual tree-lighting ceremony beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. with Santa and Mayor Scott Fadness at the NPD AMP stage. This event is free, and all are welcome!

DIY Wrapping Paper

Add a personal, artistic touch to your gift giving this year by creating your own wrapping paper with Fishers Parks! You bring the ideas, and we’ll bring all the supplies! Use paint markers for freestyle design on pre-cut pieces of craft paper, or use our wood block printing technique with pre-cut designed stamps for the season! Bring your friends and family for this free holiday craft activity, and enjoy live acoustic tunes while you create. This drop-in event is free, and all are welcome!

Step into Fishers Parks’ very own holiday workshop at Jingle Bell Junction to build and create! For makers big and small, Fishers Parks’ Maker Playground makerspace staff will guide you through basic woodshop building techniques, appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Dress in your favorite holiday PJs, and enjoy holiday movie shorts with popcorn and hot cocoa while you build! Fishers Parks will provide all materials, popcorn, and hot cocoa. This drop-in event is free, and all are welcome!

Reindeer Games: Bingo, Music Bingo, and Karaoke

This holly jolly holiday-themed game night is your time to get silly and festive with Fishers Parks! With classic bingo, holiday music bingo, and Christmastime karaoke, running the whole night at Jingle Bell Junction, we’re inviting you to celebrate with us as we sing along to some of our favorite holiday tunes and test your skills in knowing the classics for fun prizes! Grab a beer, wine, or spiced cider from Mashcraft Brewing and let our live DJ and emcee guide you through this fun-filled evening of games! Ugly and festive holiday clothing and accessories strongly encouraged!

Alongside our fun in the Jingle Bell Junction tent, Fishers Parks is partnering with the Heartland Film Festival for its showing of “It’s A Wonderful Life” inside the Fishers City Hall Theater, beginning at 7 p.m.

Bring your instruments and showcase your skills! During this live, interactive community jazz workshop, spend time with local musicians of all ages to be part of the show! From 6 to 8 p.m., Fishers Parks is partnering with music staff from Hamilton Southeastern Schools to host the jazz improv workshop at Jingle Bell Junction before the space transforms into a jazz lounge with live, professional performances from 8:30 to 10 p.m. MashCraft Brewing will be on site selling beer, wine, and spiced cider, along with other snack vendors. This is an all-ages, free event, and all are welcome!
