Need a team-building experience, to fulfill a volunteer requirement, or simply just want to give your time to your community? Volunteer with Fishers Parks! Opportunities vary throughout the year, but many Fishers Parks events utilize volunteers in event set up and tear down, event operations, pre-event planning and operations, customer service, and guest interaction.

Fishers Parks utilizes food trucks and food-vending services at many of its events throughout the year, from signature community events like Glow in the Park and Monsoon Madness, to large-scale concerts at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Fishers Parks often hires outside companies to help enhance the activities and fun at our events, like Boo Bash, NPT Night Lights, Glow in the Park, and more. Looking for the next gig? Depending on the event, Fishers Parks often hires local musicians and DJs to provide musical entertainment at events and festivals, from solo acoustic sets to full bands and groups with more production. Heritage Park at White River - garden

Become a Park and Rain Garden Steward 

Volunteer to become a Fishers Parks or Rain Garden steward to get involved in caring for Fishers parks and greenways to ensure the sustainability of our natural resources. 

  • Park Stewards will ensure our parks are clean, welcoming, and thriving ecosystems for our community to enjoy through trash cleanup, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, and reporting vandalism or park damage. 
  • Rain Garden Stewards will help maintain adopted rain garden areas. Learn more about both programs and apply at volunteerfishers.com
