A Summer Camp experience for ages 11-14!

New in 2025, Fishers Parks is excited to announce a new Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for kids and young adults who would have previously aged out of most Fishers Parks camps at age 10. The Counselor in Training Program is an opportunity for kids ages 11 to 14  to not only participate in our camp program, but also be a leader amongst their camp peers.

Campers registered for the Counselor in Training Program will get the enjoy all the fun of camp alongside our summer camp counselors and staff. In our experience running summer camps for many years, we have seen that many of our older campers feel accomplishment, pride, and increased self esteem when they have additional responsibility to help each day at camp. This program is designed for young adults who are eager to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and make a positive impact on the lives of campers.

At the end of the program, CITs will have a deeper understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a camp counselor. This program is perfect for those interested in teaching and education, child development, psychology, recreation, or any field that requires leadership, teamwork, and communication. Join us for an unforgettable summer of learning, growth, and fun!
