Summer kicks off early in Fishers this week

Fishers AgriPark & Farmers Market open this week to jump start summer season!

Summer arrives early in Fishers this week with the opening of several seasonal amenities and community favorites.

Experience new features at Fishers AgriPark
The Fishers AgriParkStrengthened by IU Health, will open May 1 with the debut of several new features. The 33-acre urban farm (11171 Florida Road) is one of the city’s most unique park properties and features free u-pick opportunities in the public fields and gardens, animal encounters, community programming, and more.

With an investment of more than $900,000, upgrades in 2025 include a new multi-purpose building featuring indoor restrooms and enhanced programming space, along with a new nature-themed playground made of Indiana black locust. The Fishers AgriPark will now be open year-round, a major shift from the park’s standard May through October season. Hours will vary by season.

The AgriPark will also debut a new country store later this year, featuring a coffee shop and space for local vendors to sell goods through the winter season.

The park has expanded its summer hours for 2025, including:

  • Sunday: Noon – 4 PM
  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: Closed
  • Wednesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday: Noon – 4 PM

Shop local at the Fishers Farmers Market
The Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health, returns for a new season at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Dr, Fishers) on Saturday, May 3. The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through September and features more than 90 vendors from around Indiana. The Fishers Farmers Market is one of the only dog-friendly markets in the Indianapolis metro and was ranked 6th in the state by the American Farmland Trust: Farmers Market Coalition.
