2025 event info coming soon!
On May 18, 2024, the Fishers Parks team held its first-ever Buckets at Brooks School event to celebrate the completion of two new basketball court murals at Brooks School Park. The event featured a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and 3-point contest, arts and crafts activities, visits from Boomer and Freddy Fever, live street dance performances and DJing from 31SVN Street Dance Academy, and more.
Thank you to all who supported this event and mural project through volunteering, donations, and attending! An extra special thank you goes out to Fishers native, HSE grad, and Orlando Magic small forward/shooting guard Gary Harris, who funded the mural project entirely and enlisted artist and fellow HSE grad Koda Witsken to bring his vision to life.

About the Murals
In early 2024, Gary Harris, a Fishers native and professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic, partnered with Koda Witsken, an artist who also is also a Fishers native, to design and install two basketball court murals at Brooks School Park (11565 Brooks School Road) in Fishers.
The colorful murals are highly visible from 116th Street and Brooks School Road. The design concept for the murals includes vibrant colors, cosmic elements, and Gary Harris’ “GH” brand symbol.
Through bright colors and symbolic out-of-this-world imagery, the designs are meant to inspire the next generation of Indiana basketball talent to reach for the stars for a bright future.

Gary Harris and Koda Witsken
As a player at Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2012, Harris finished his high school career as 2012 Mr. Indiana Basketball with a school-record of 1,540 points, 467 rebounds, 232 assists, and 232 steals. Harris was rated among the top players in the nation by ESPNU100 (No. 11), Scout.com (No. 16) and Rivals.com (No. 25). He was also ranked among the nation’s top shooting guards by ESPNU100 (No. 2).
