
Fishers Touch-a-Truck
Kids can explore Fishers’ fleet of big rigs, including tractors, snowplows, police cars, and fire trucks at the free Touch-A-Truck event on Monday, May 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive).
Enjoy live demonstrations from Fishers Department of Public Works, Fishers Health Department, Fishers Fire Department, and the Fishers Police Department, including K-9 demos as well as kids’ activities from Fishers Parks and food vendors.
IMPORTANT: For your child to participate in the inflatables area, you MUST register for a wristband before the day of the event. Wristbands must be picked up between 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 16, at the Fishers Parks HQ (8100 E. 106th Street, Suite 150).

WRISTBANDS REQUIRED FOR INFLATABLES
To use the inflatables at the event, you must register for a free wristband. This wristband ensures that all guests of the event that choose to enjoy the event’s inflatable attractions have a safety and liability waiver on file with the City of Fishers. This waiver is only required for inflatables, not for trucks or exploring Touch-A-Truck vehicles and equipment.
Wristbands must be picked up at the Fishers Parks HQ (8100 E 106th St., Suite 150) anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, May 5, and ending Friday, May 16.

Parking + Road Closures
Parking
Free street and garage parking is available throughout the Nickel Plate District. Free garage parking is available in the following parking garages:
- Flats at Switch Garage
- Police Station Garage
- Nickel Plate Station Garage
- Spark Garage
- First Internet Bank Garage
Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the south City Services Building parking lot at 3 Municipal Drive. An license plate, placard, or tag must be displayed to park at this location. Overflow accessible parking can be found in the Fishers Police Department parking garage across the street at 4 Municipal Drive.
Road + Parking Lot Closures
- The west side of Municipal Drive will be closed from North Municipal Drive (behind the NPD AMP) to Fishers Center Drive from noon to 8 p.m. Monday, May 19.
- All four municipal parking lots surrounding the NPD AMP venue and the parking lot adjacent to the dog park on the west side of the NPD AMP will be closed and must remain clear all day on May 19. Parking will not be permitted on these lots (north and south of fire department, north and south of City Services Building). The south City Services Building parking lot at 3 Municipal Drive may also be used for accessible parking.
