Stained Glass for Beginners

During this fun and informative class, you will get your hands on glass and learn the process of creating stained glass from start to finish. You don’t need any experience, just enthusiasm, and a willingness to try something new. We supply everything you will need to create your holiday ornament, and a selection of colored glass will be provided. We will teach you how to “cut” glass, apply the copper foil, and solder your piece together. By the end of the 3 hour class, you will have your very own creation completed and ready to take home with you.

Intro to Resin Art

In this Resin Art Glass Class, participants will learn to create unique art pieces by using repurposed materials like reclaimed glass, broken mirrors, and other upcycled items. The class covers resin art basics, sustainable design techniques, and hands-on crafting. Participants will arrange glass pieces and other materials on a canvas, then encase them in resin for a glossy, finished look. This ecoconscious class emphasizes creativity, sustainability, and is suitable for all skill levels. Optional takehome kits will be available to continue creating with repurposed materials..

Intro to Mosaic Art

Maker Playground | Ages 16+ | $100 residents / $150 non-residents

Join us for this Intro to Mosaic class, where you’ll create stunning, one-of-a-kind mosaic art! In session 1, you will dive into designing your masterpiece using colorful tiles, glass, and repurposed materials. You’ll learn the basics of mosaic art, cutting, and arranging your pieces. Then, in session 2, we’ll bring it all together by grouting and finishing your work to reveal your vibrant, textured creation. Perfect for all skill levels—come get creative and go home with a beautiful piece of art! Optional take-home kits will be available to continue creating with repurposed materials.

Plates to Pendants Jewelry Making Class

In this class, transform pieces of vintage plates and China into stunning, one-of-a-kind jewelry.  Plates and Pendants will teach you the art of repurposing delicate, broken, and unused China into beautiful brooches, necklaces, earrings and pins.
